The digital age

The digital world is a world of convenience. And we give up a lot for that convenience. Texting is the antithesis of nuance, tone, voice and genuine expressiveness. We lose the very skills that education has presented as important.

Even more with drawing. The digitized drawing is seen at various sizes and in various formats. It's integrity is compromised as its floats in cyberspace to reach a wider audience. Touch, character, subtlety and personality are lost in any conversation between the viewer and the digitized drawing. Much of the drawing's message is silenced.
